A couple asked for a box where they could start collecting jewellery for their granddaughter. They were thinking beyond a single occasion: as she grew older, she would have both the jewellery and something to remember her grandparents by.
The curly maple box has a name and floral design engraved on its lid. Inside, a divided upper section provides separate spaces for small pieces, with a drawer below for additional storage. Contrasting wood and the visible grain give the box its character even when the lid is closed.
